Now we're just going round in circles![]()
Quintero has signed for Genoa. There's one for FM players.
This is on saints247.com - rather lacking in detail to be news?
Saints have signed their first player of the summer transfer window. It's a player from abroad and he will arrive on Saturday to sign his contract, with official confirmation likely from the club on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Ridiculous headline - Inter Milan are not in the Premier League's top four, and neither are Liverpool.
By the title they mean that we are eyeing the top four. It's badly worded.
I don't see how we have missed out- have they signed contracts elsewhere and the 'journalist' has neglected to include that information in the article? Or is it simply Liverpool, Arsenal and Inter also appear interested therefore we don't stand a change.
I must admit though, we've never made a big signing (say £12m) from under the nose of a 'big' club (such as Liverpool). F*****g cretins.

I saw Australia 1 vs. Japan 1 yesterday. Yoshida played very well putting in a brilliant block late in the game when it was still 0-0, he didn't have to do a lot, a few times the japnese defese were split open but that was more the fullbacks fault. He also looked comfortable in possession. Kiyotake only played the last 5 minutes and didn't notice him. Kagawa was brilliant as was Honda to a slightly lesser extent. Honda would be our best player if he came but I think we could get better for a lot less money (not that we could get him atm but maybe 1-2 years), also I think he isn't a team player and stop-start, I haven't seen enough of him but I suspect we would have to change our system to suit his play. In 1-2 years Ramirez would be preferable anyway.
Japan lacked a decent striker, Tadanari Lee would have done a better job than Maeda.
Not sure if this has already been mentioned
