Played with Maya Yoshida at the 2012 London Olympics and is included in Japan's preliminary squad for the 2013 Confederations Cup (as is Maya).
Maybe it's Cortese's signing present to him.
Not one for getting overly excited at players looking good on youtube, but i like the top video - he looks decent. He plays on the left, he plays on the right Hiroshi Kiyotake makes Messi look ****e, lol.
It would be nice to have someone who can deliver a decent free kick or corner from either side. Kiyotake seems to do just that, and has an eye for goal too.

Still 1 league game to go in Spain, must be this weekend and as I think most of our signings will come from thereabouts it's not a surprise.
I remember Pochettino saying a couple of signings were close to completing some time ago, must have been around the same time as the West Brom game, hopefully they didn't actually watch that one!

Was wondering about that...MP seemed to think that two signings were virtually done. Of course, it could be that he is unaware how we can drag things out.
After Emile Heskeys fantastic first season in Australia, MP seems ready to give him an opportunity to return to the premier league.... Think i saw it on sky sports news.... Or maybe i dreamt it. Either way Guly, Heskey and Lambert up front would be an amazing sight.
I have seen a number of additional tweets from folks about Pirlo. Is there something written somewhere that is getting this out? These aren't Saints fans tweeting about it.
As far as I am aware this all came from the car, which was later confirmed to belong to a guy also called Pirlo who owns a chain of hairdressers. Booooo.

That we're signing a player from Italy is akin to the sunrise. It's an absolute certainty.
But a 'big signing'? Probably same again.

It still makes me chuckle that we haven't signed an Italian yet. In other news Man City are after Jesus Gamez too according to someone 'ITK' on twitter.
The longer it goes on the bigger the signing is going to have to be to satisfy our expectations!
I started off hoping it was Astori or Nainggolan, now only Cavani will do!
