I agree, however he is the closest, talent wise, we have had for a long while.

I'm not sure how you can say "he will never settle in England" after a year...
 
I'm going to reserve judgement (obvious talent aside) until next season if he's still here. Ultimately he ended up being a bit part player through one reason or another, and a stronger squad (and full pre season) could make alot of difference come the next campaign.

Agreed, it's a hell of a thing for a 17 year old to break into the first team in the Prem, especially when the team weren't playing particularly well and couldn't carry him at all. He deserved not to be first choice, if you see what I mean.

He's different then Shaw, but I think he will be class. I think maybe it's to soon for him atm, but Pochettino will know more then me.
 
Daily Echo is again reporting Gaston could be off to Italy.... To be honest if we could get anywhere near what we paid for him back I wouldn't be sorry - invest it somewhere else.

Are we in for Benteke...? - If so it doesn't look like it's going to happen, but this is a quote from his agent; which suggests we might have asked the question possibly...
"It's no use with all respect to go to Southampton or Norwich. If he can improve himself in a footballistic way, okay, why not? But it's up to Aston Villa and that supposed team to get an agreement.

I like the Charlie Austin link. Not sure about his temperament or character, but he does guarantee goals, in the same way Sharp does.

I think Southampton or Norwich are just examples of teams he believes to be on the kind of level of Villa.
