    These are all good points and I'd love to have players of that quality here. We'd dominate possession in most games with that midfield. Cork would then provide cover/competition at right back, where he fills in so comfortably. Still feel that a winger/striker is definitely needed so hope that any outlay on central midfielders is matched in these positions.

    We're talking about them as if they are done deals...I can't help feel we're going to be very disappointed!

    Spot on. Last season we were lucky we didn't get more injuries - when you looked at our bench and squad we didn't really have enough strength in depth. I'd like to think with more competition, the likes of Cork would try and raise their game

    Totally agree. If Morgan or Cork had picked up a long term injury we'd have been in big trouble.

    Pretty sure our only solid rumours at the moment are Wanyama and Banega, in terms of players I'm more than 50% sure we've made an effort for.

    On line rumours that Billy is off to Reading for £1.2M. Good signing for Nigel if true although a bit similar to Le Fondre.

    Yep, passed his medical second time round. He's lucky that the club gave him that chance - Nigel clearly rates him highly.

    Do you think Napoli are expecting Cavani's departure hence the big spending? As no doubt they'll recoup a hefty amount of money if he leaves.

    Where do you reckon? They'll be clubs all around Europe queuing up for him.

    The Wanyama rumours have spread around the net like wild fire. If we actually got him, it would be one of the biggest statements of intent the club could possible make.

    Would be a fantastic signing, signing a player under the nose of top clubs does show ambition to other players and also means we are more likely to be pushing for Europe than battling relegation.
