Couldn't agree more.

It may seem risky and to an extent it is but if the players concerned come off we will have made a profit. If the players only do ok we can probably get most if not all of our cash back when we buy young.

It's something he only needs to do with one or two as well - once they're in, it becomes an awful lot easier to get the next tranche.

If the Wanyama deal goes through for the reported £11-12million - that will take Liebherr's spending on transfers to £66million (give or take) since they've been here.

I don't think this is their money, the club is fairly sustainable at this point. I don't see any evidence that we've spent beyond our means in recent years on transfers, especially with the Oxlade-Chamberlain money.

Well yes I could of worded it better, but that's around what we have spent. It's not too bad, will be interesting what the total will be on Sept 1st.

I generally agree although it has to be said that (so far) we haven't been that good at moving on unwanted players. Obviously the promotions and the wage increases that have come with them haven't helped so that may change.

I think our rapid rise will have caught us out in more ways than one. Playing staff would have changed in each window but maybe in a slightly more purposeful way. Can't be easy to predict who will do well with such a swift change of circumstance for the club.

Just dreaming but what if Chelski bought Benteka they would have a surplus of forwards. Perhaps Pouch could have a word with his mate The Special One to let us have that youngster Lukaku who would only sit on the bench. If we had him and Banega then am sure I would get a crick in the neck looking up the league instead of the usual pain in the arse looking down.
Just been woken up by a man in a white coat!
