He'll get another three game ban for "offensive gesturing" as well. I think both charges are ridiculous but he should start each season with a mandatory 12 game ban for having such an obscene face.
I said this a couple of weeks ago. Ridiculously disproportionate to the crime, it won't make racists change their minds, it'll just make them more discreet. If you get a stupid twat like Martin Atkinson you can break someone's legs without getting any punishment at all.

I find it astonishing that they have seemed to have forgotten or have chosen to ignore the fact that Luis Suarez admitted to using the word/term of "Negro" or "Negrito" towards Patrice Evra.
You can defend Luis Suarez's heritage along with his own family members being of black and mixed race; but you can not possibly defend the use of this word/term on the shores of the UK in the 21st century on the professional football pitch.
They can appeal all they want. However the right thing to do is to accept the charges and admit a wrong has been committed. Shame on them. A great club has been brought down a notch by totally mis-guided 'player loyalty'.
