There are parts of his attitude that I like and dislike. I like his hunger for the game but I don't like his temperamental issues especially when a decision doesn't go his way. If I wasn't a Liverpool fan I would probably hate him, but at the same time think he was a good player.

In some ways hes like your Rooney. Hes not the nicest guy but hes a passionate footballer who sometimes loses control

The Spanish are not a race.
Racism, what do you think the word implies?

Christ so we are back to your schoolboy definition of words now. You really have a lot of goring up to do in terms of your education.

Tell me this, would you make the same remark about pakistanis without thinking it might be racist?

Are pakistanis proud of their racism towards black people?

Didnt work.

Anyone know how to explain to this guy that the spanish are not a race without just spelling it out for him.

Anyone speak spanish? Maybe thats the way to go?

Well you better e-mail this fella UIR and tell him hes in a non existant job,hes head of The Spanish Race and Ethnic Equality Council(recognised and supported by the European Commision).

<whistle>

I must admit I mistakenly thought you had aimed your comment at me, however, your misrepresentation of other posters views is disgraceful and sits you nicely with the other tit.

**** off. Somebody clearly said that they think the use of the word '******' is acceptable and he can't see how it is racist. Just **** off if you think that is an OK comment to make because that is disgusting.

Without even clicking the link I am reckon its about equality for minorities in spain as well as people from the north who want to break away and form a separate country.

Edit - As is the case

Are pakistanis proud of their racism towards black people?

That's not an answer is it.

Here you go I got a definition of racism that you might understand, it's from CBBC

Racism is not just a black and white thing. Many children are picked on because they look different, speak a different language or have different religious beliefs.

Some people have to wear certain styles of clothing because of their religion and very often get bullied because of this.

Racism includes picking on people who are from a different country too. Many refugee children whose families might have escaped war in their own country are bullied in Britain.

Hes a funny guy.

Alot of people in this thread have tried to make excuses for Suarez on the basis of if he said it. As it is we dont yet no so why they even need to make excuses is beyond me. There are no excuses if hes guilty.

Evra told the ref. He says the ref is aware so either he heard it or evra told him. If he heard it then he had to send Suarez off and make note of it in his report or lets face it, evra would of made the allegation and if Suarez was guilty the ref would never ref a game again. Its fair to assume evra told him I think.

As you say, if the Ref did hear any racist remark then he would have to take action there and then (not sure what the penalty would be but probably issuing a red card and noting the reason in his Match Report. If Evra told the Ref but the complaint was not substantiated by other players then there is nothing that thr Ref can do. Let's face it players in every match are always complaining to the Ref.

Now, I saw no evidence of any other United player reacting to what was going on between Evra and Suarez. If they had heared Suarez use the N word then I'm almost certain that there would have been a reaction from Ferdinand, Wellbeck and Smalling at the very least. There was none either at the time or later in the game.

As I said earlier I don't know and this is my last comment on the issue until the FA produce a decision and/or difinitive evidence is produced.

As usual with your type of knobheads the context of the comment went right over your head ie he was saying that it is not the word that is racist but the person saying it.

Just out of interest, is it racist if a black person uses the word?

Here you go I got a definition of racism that you might understand, it's from CBBC

noun
[mass noun]
the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics, abilities, or qualities specific to that race , especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races:
theories of racism
prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior:

Note the word 'race'.

Thanks for your time and input. Please refrain from further discussions with me in the future. Today one idiot was removed from the board so lets be happy with that. Take care of yourself Terrif.

No, because he is calling himself then. If one black person says to another black person in his American slang 'what's up ******', it's clearly ok and nobody gets offended. This isn't racism because he isn't insulting the person, he is using the word as a name of his own race, as we call each other white.
