When will Suarez leave?

  • Pre-contract, gone 1st day

  • Gone in July

  • Gone in August

  • Gone on transfer deadline day

Fowler going to Leeds hurt more but he was forced out rather than forcing a move.
 
I'm not sure it's the best business deal but I have to applaud the stance on principle. If we go through with it, it sends out a further signal to the football world that we won't be messed about with.
Maybe this time Luis has bitten off more than he can chew......

MFG will love this...

Kenny and Comolli burnt a MASSIVE chunk of cash that could have got us back into the CL already had it been spent wisely.

I love Kenny to bits but buying Carroll, Downing and Adam where three massive errors! Henderson is still questionable too, he is getting better but I'm not convinced he will ever be of a regular starting top four player.

Edit: must thank them for Enrique, Suarez and the League Cup though <ok>

That's true actually. Whenever I see Torres he just doesn't look right in blue.
But for me it's still Owen..just that picture of him celebrating the premiership..well it's as bad as terry turning up in his kit for CL presentation

So BR must be sure that a replacement target that he wants (not guys WE half fancy) is not available this summer and has told Henry the money is pointless at this stage.

If Real come there's always a phone call that says come back in January or the summer. If they're ready to offer 50 million now (no evidence of that at all) after all this behaviour then That level of interest won't drop that much by January and a couple of months kicking his heels. Maybe knock a few million off but by then we'll see where we sit in the PL and exactly how Suarez has behaved on or off pitch.

And be on the look out for his replacement

Yeah mfg wont like that probably. I do like him and his posts are interesting and well done but I really thought by now hed move on. Surely he has to or how can he ever enjoy us being successful again!
