When will Suarez leave?

I think there are any number of things going on behind the scenes and there are far too many contradictory stories (as there always are with these things) to make a completely informed decision - so (maybe biasedly) i stick by innocent until proven guilty!

I also don't think the least painful outcome for any party is to drag it all through the courts - that does no-ones reputation any good. And if some sort of amicable result can be reached without resorting to that i can see why it would be considered.

You know it's funny that you bang on about grammar and whatnot, but seem to struggle with simple English yourself. It's admirable that you came running to the defence of some faceless man over the net. I commend you for that. Unfortunately for you, you have nothing here.

From the minute he arrived there was just incident after incident it seemed. For every brilliant piece of skill, goals, etc it was swiftly followed by controversy. Just so ****ing over all of this. I just hope we do the right things with the money now.

I'm being condescending because you deserve it. You've come onto our board with what I can only believe you think are smart one liners & quips and then seem to believe that you can besmirch a guy who's debating passionately with your more mature colleagues. I.e adding to this thread.

Yes it's an Internet forum which attracts various people. I believe we have a guy (non LFC fan) who is a chairman or director of a club on here. I have no reason based on his post content to disbelieve him any more than I have reason to disbelieve Dave after reading many posts he's written on finance slanted topics over the last couple of years.

You on the other hand have only very recently repeatedly came on to this board and limited yourself to insults about our club, fans and said "you're wrong" a lot. You must ask yourself with such limited posting how you get such a negative reaction from many different personalities. There isn't exactly enough content in your posts to warrant any fear of your ferocious intellect is there?

Hence my assumption you have a limited education or at least a lack of emotional maturity.

Anyhow must go to sleep and get up for work tomorrow. I'm sure your responses will be the highlight of my tea break.

Fyi I haven't thrown a single insult today. In fact, it's your fellow Scousers who've been guilty of that.

And why do I get such negative response from your fans? Have a look at the other gooners who've been posting on here. They've been welcomed with a warm embrace, I presume. Get over yourself ffs.

Liverpool demanded an official transfer request from Suarez earlier this summer. Based on his latest comments, it appears they are going to get one.

Liverpool have maintained their stance that Suarez will not be sold to a Premier League rival this summer, with manager Brendan Rodgers repeating that statement at his pre-match press conference in Oslo on Tuesday evening.

But Suarez says now is the time for him to make public his desire to leave Merseyside, and says the club owes it to him to let him go.

He said: &#8220;It is not as if I am asking to move to a local rival. And I would not consider moving to a club outside the Champions League. I have made my desire to move known in private various times and now it feels like the time for me to make it public.

"I have to put my career first. People say Liverpool deserve more from me but I have scored 50goals in less than 100 games and now they could double the money they paid for me.

"Liverpool will always be special for me: my daughter was born here. [Last year] was the moment to show my loyalty to Liverpool and I did.

&#8220;They gave me my chance in England and stood up for me throughout my ban. I know I have made mistakes in my time here but I have apologised lots of times. This is not about that. This is about the club having agreed to something both verbally and in the contract which they are now not honouring.

i don't care where he goes and not bothered for how much now, just that he ****s off abroad, if we can get £30-35 mill bonus.

bit stupid maybe, but what about sending him on loan for a season to Napoli, gets his CL football doesn't strengthen Arsenal and if we can get CL football without him, we can sell him the following season and able to attract the players we need, and yes even if we did get CL football and he had a change of heart he can still **** off!

be surprised if he ever gets his move to Real now though, he has shown them what he is all about, really worth it Luis for a move to Arsenal ffs, you clown!
 
Luis Suarez says he is prepared to go to the Premier League to force a move away from Liverpool this summer.

The striker - subject of two failed Arsenal bids last month - claims Liverpool are refusing to honour a clause in his contract allowing him to leave Anfield for £40m-plus if the club failed to qualify for this season's Champions League.

Suarez has so far stopped short of handing in an official transfer request, but the Uruguayan has now made it clear he intends to push through a move.

Arsenal remain the only club to have made an offer, and their second bid was just £1 over the £40m mark.

And Suarez says he will take further steps if the Reds continue to block his move to London.

"I have the club's word and we have the written contract and we are happy to take this to the Premier League for them to decide the case, but I do not want it to come to that," he said.

Liverpool's supporters may argue they are entitled to more loyalty from Suarez, having supported him steadfastly despite the long bans he has received for racially abusing Patrice Evra of Manchester United and biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic.

Supporters not angry

But Suarez said: "I got a great reception at the weekend and I am grateful. I don't think the supporters are angry, I think they understand a player when he has the ambition to triumph at the highest level.

"When you are at a club for as long as you are together you stick up for each other, but that does not give the club the right to go back on their commitment.

I've tried to stay out of all the Suarez debating but it's been increasingly obvious the guy wanted a move simply from his silence. So Luis put in your transfer request and go to North London. However you signed a new contract last year that got you a lot more money so now you put the ball in our court. We sell IF your value is met. Don't however play the martyr because frankly it's laughable. It does make me laugh that you now find this mysterious verbal contract (as if there ever was one) more important than the pen and ink one you signed not so long ago.

Basically you can go **** yourself...but only once we see top dollar for you <laugh>
 
Quite a damning article but it's not as if we ready anything new. He wants to leave and we want to sell him - just waiting for the right bid.

Also, this shows you the desperation on Suarez's part - LFC are standing firm on this and has forced Suarez to act.
