So with your current skill set you could go and work for a top 4 football club and you'd be immedietly able to draw up the contracts knowing what things are expected to be put in, what isn't etc...?
It would be an issue for the FA. Arsenal would have to face the charge. It would not hurt Liverpool in the slightest.

I also can't imagine it doing much good for Liverpools reputation with emerging talent who might see the club as a stepping stone (which for your current level are the type of player you want to go for).
Again, i really can't see the club actually throwing a hissy fit and following through on any action against Arsenal. I think its far more likely some kind of deal will be reached.

Firstly I have retired. In theory yes I could. In practice I would not as I have not worked in the football industry. However, no competent negotiator, lawyer executive or advisor would commit pen to paper on a commercial contract that was not covered by a confidentiality clause and neither would I. It is not good business practice to do otherwise.

The negotiation could have been finalized in the matter of hours. Why did Arsenal not go directly back with another offer? Why haven't they got on the phone and brokered a deal? Arsenal are sitting on their hands either waiting for Suarez to do all the dirty work, or their interest isn't legitimate they just want to appear to be 'trying' to spend those cash reserves. Arsenal want the player, Liverpool don't want to sell, clearly if its going to happen Arsenal are going to have to meet Liverpool's valuation, that's the only 'amicable' way this can be resolved.

Or is Suarez a dirty lying racist and the FA were right to go on the gut and find him guilty without any direct proof he was lying?
It's just I don't remember you guys on here talking about the burden of proof or defending his honesty 18 months ago. Yet he and the info his agent have most likely leaked appears to be taken as the exact version of events this time around.

How can anyone negotiate with someone as stroppy and emotional as Liverpool's owners and their manager Brenda? Just doesn't work that way. They lost their cool. And Arsenal sat back. Not their fault your player's whinging.

I'm not saying everything he says is 100% true or saying any clause exists or anything like that. I was just defending Arsenal from the position that there is no evidence currently that the club has done anything illegal and until such evidence appears, the club shouldn't be tarred iwth that brush

Tapping up, are you lot taking the piss, it has been in every national newspaper for the last 2 months that there was some kind of 40 million pound clause, extremely confidential that wasn't it, every man and his dog in the whole of the UK knew there was a some sort of clause, hardly tapping up is it.
