Can't really answer that because there have been no direct quotes. He does want to play CL football and I think he does want to leave, whether the two go hand in hand is slightly different IMO

You are right. He never said it but as I said earlier realistically and logically the likelihood is that this saga would not happen without his consent. He could put a stop to it straightaway by saying he has decided to stay at Liverpool this season.
I don't think the prime reason for wanting to leave is for CL football
?? If he does want to leave Liverpool for another premiership club and it is not for CL football, is it then for the title? He surely hasn't fallen out with the club...
I confidently predict this: if he does go to Arsenal the persecution and witch hunts will stop within months, if not weeks.

I believe he feels let down by the club for not standing up for him more after the two instances (crazy I know but he is Uruguayan) and he is also the sort of player that gets restless if at a club too long. CL football will no doubt play a part but inevitably, in a year or two he will be doing the same again to fulfill "his dream" of winning trophies and titles as well as fulfilling "his dream" to play for Barca or Real
Surely it is all to him and his traits rather than the club he plays for? The bad publicity would have been the same if he had behaved like hedid playing for Chelsea or arsenal. You cannot believe that he has got the stick because of Liverpool

Honestly I think the club went well beyond what was reasonable especially with the Evra incident. The club suffered from his actions.

Well if he goes to another PL club we'll soon find out but it's interesting that a press that was so rabidly "anti Suarez", who have not only attributed rightly his actual indiscretions ad nauseum but also any suspected bad behaviour: (kissing his hand for example) but not one has jumped at the chance of accusing him or his representatives of breaching his contracts confidentiality by approaching Arsenal with inside info & Arsenal using this to their advantage.
We might have discussed the lack of proof but that rarely stops the sports hacks from printing it.

Absolutely I do! He was called 'controversial' and 'bad-boy' Suarez in every report the Mail and Mirror mentioned him in - nine months before the Evra incident. I also believe any other club would have at least appealed, if not vigorously fought, the hideously disproportionate and vindictive Evra ban, at least twice as long as any of
The actual evidence reported by the 'independent' panel warranted. That and a preposterous ten-match ban for 'biting' (he didn't even leave a red mark!) when a) Defoe got no ban at all, and b) another player from ANOTHER club, in the same season, was recorded head butting, elbowing and throwing a punch at Stoke defenders yet received the standard three-match ban. So yeah, the two common denominators being LFC and Luis Suarez I'd say yes, there's a witch hunt and yes the FA and media have unfinished business with this club dating back to 1989.
And although it will stop for Suarez when he leaves, it won't for Liverpool - unless we suck Murdoch cock and say 'Oh yes press and FA, you were right all along - he really is a dirty, nasty dago who doesn't fit in with our non-racist country (sic)'. I would be happy with Soldado , Ericsson and possibly atsu (?). We should still have money left for a central defender and be able to bring in left back cover . Nothing and nobody will be able to replace Suarez ,there is no one else like him, for a number of reasons. But we survived Torres going and we will survive this.
I think Couthino can step up and become even better than he has been. We showed in matches without Suarez at the end of season that we can score without him and our win % is actually much better when he's not playing.

Any other club that was not Liverpool would of ditched him along time ago after the racial allegations not to mention the biting. He has not appreciated the support the club gave him. I just hope he goes abroad to a club like Real. Barca won't have him.
