1. this guy would not go SSN interviews to ease the shame he put on himself but he can to work a transfer?
2. this guy just blew his loyalty bonuses. now we hold out for transfer request... thats great IMO.

£40m + whatever else for Rodgers to spend..... Who here trusts him with that? Yes Coutinho is good and Sturridge can be when focused, but Allen, Borini and Assaidi type players will just drag us down.

FFS, why do people keep saying this? If the release clause is £40m, why would they give us that AND a player?
It happened with Owen we could of had 8 Million or 8 million plus Nunez so you never know they may throw in a useless fringe player in again.
I believe I said some months ago, when he signed his new contract, that there was only one reason to do that with four years left to run - to insert a buyout clause.

Assman was 3m, hardly breaking the bank.
He made better signings in Sturridge and Coutinho in January after he was able to assess the squad.
Guys.....
1. there is no deal in place - saga
2. rodgers is not in control of transfers.
3. i'll be glad to see the back of both coates and suarez. for different reasons but i hope its done early and its suarez initiating so the club MUST make him formally request a transfer and ensure no loyalty bonues come out of that 40mil. get it done before july 1.

I think there was also the small matter of him trebling his wages like...
Have to trust him as he's the manager. All previous managers were trusted with millions including our favourites. They had mixed success rates too. Like his predecessor I assume he'll be judged next season on how his now settled team (management) did in picking those players & spending that money.
Will be interesting as its also the m team FSG hand picked.

Makes me laugh how this can be turned into a 'lets watch BR **** this up' issue when
