He'd be a big loss, but no player is bigger than the club. Great players have played and gone, and they have been replaced. This will not change.

They havent always been replaced. Don't be silly. Suarez won't be replaced and we will not become a better team on the back of Suarez leaving. YEs he's not bigger than the club but let's not delude ourselves, he scored like a third of our goals this year. He's sublime

To be honest it was only a matter of time before he was forced out and to be honest I do not really blame him. I can live with it as long as we get a good fee in excess f £50m or as someone else mentioned £40m plus Alonso. Its does not seem like such a doomsday scenario since we signed Sturridge and Coutinho and I think it might benefit the whole team in the long run. Can anyone tell me is he Sturridge injury bad by the way?

not that it has any bearing on this,

is it true that when luis was at Ajax, his last game was before he got banned for biting someone, is history repeating it self?

seems an odd way to get a move away from a club.

He came a month or so saying he wanted to stay. Plus in In his interview he mentions a lot of recent changes (family, press) so wonder of he's finally had enough and trying to indignantly barge himself out

So did Torres. In fact, Mascherano may have been the same too!

Lol, maybe we should sell then: what would he do if we play hard ball? Set fire to Rooney?!

First reaction to news like this is always to act like he's nothing to us - I did the same but you are spot on he is ****in magnificent

Of course, but sometimes these things work out, it goes without saying that Suarez is one of the best in the world, it doesn't mean that he can't be replaced, you don't necessarily need to buy one of the best players in the world to replace him, just some one who will have the same effect on the team (perhaps without the antics?). From the Suarez transfer we'll certainly have the money for it.

Anyway, this is all if he does leave, hopefully the club can sit down with him and negotiate a solution.

We got Carroll and Suarez at the same time and now we could see them leave together too. Wonder if we'll get the "Torres" money back <whistle>

MFG will be along shortly to tell us how BR has forced Suarez away...

Ankle injury. Not travelling to Brazil. GKRK

There'll be champagne corks a-popping in the troughs of Fleet Street for the likes of Lawton, Samuel, Holt and Powell. Porcine bastards.

If we get £50m I hope at least some will be put aside to bankroll a renown, international hitman to wipe them and their families out.
