why not just admit you are on the wind up biased... that way you just look normal, not a fool cos i've already pointed out on the other thread that you don't seem to have even read the report.

Suarez knew exactly what he was doing when he used that word: to wind Evra up

And none of my co-workers used it on day 1 or nine months into the moving here
Actually, that is your prejudice and supposition, which even the FA Panel didn't accept.

As for winding up an opponant, Evra's gotten away with that scot free. He by his own admission started the entire event and threatened to hit Luis before Luis used a single offensive word. Read Evra's testimony again.

If he was being friendly to Evra, why did he have to call him negro, or bring his colour into it at all and pinch him.

Strangely, Evra does not remember the 'pinch' at all, or at least failed to mention it in his evidence. And according to Luis the Negro was used after mentioning where Luis was from - South America.

Seems somewhat incongruous to say "Don't touch me, South American". An equal reply would be "Why African?" - If it was spoken in Spanish, I can see the exchange following the way Luis suggested in the report. Seems to follow.

So why didn't he say, 'Why European?' instead of referring to his skin colour?

This is getting beyond rediculous, why aren't these getting closed. It is just back and forth with no one budging.

Of course its ridiculous - BraindeadOpinion is a United WUM and LondonsFoulest is a vile WUM who dredges up Heysel can't see racism when it smacks him in the face - I reckon he's a closet NF-er

We have an FA cup game today and istead of being on that thread all I see is the Suarez ones being constantly dragged up. It's nuts.

You obviously don't have Sky Sports. There have been videos showing Suarez pinch Evra

Embarrassed for you now.

The only thing we don't seem to agree on now is the length of the ban is it not? I'm not discussing that. All I want to know is whether the Liverpool fans agree Suarez made a racist comment towards Evra?

No, he's lived in Europe since he was 1.
I see him as French European.
You, like Suarez, obviously see the colour of his skin first

And you don't eh?

Before you 'see' him, you 'see' his passport?

Now you are being ridiculous. Its one thing to be 'colourblind' in terms of people, but its something completely different to deny reality.

If I see a person in the street, unless they are wearing a burkha, I'm going to see the colour of their skin long before I know their national identity...

Suarez made a comment "which may be taken as having racist connotations". Of course you don't understand the nuance between that and "made a racist comment".

I don't expect you to, as you've demonstrated a hardheaded attitude to much that has been said in this thread...
