SKY's a good bloke- he has his opinion on this which is a bit different to that of most 'pool fans, that's all. For someone to suggest he supports someone else is daft, it's a shame that situations like this polarize opinion and set people against each other.
Anyway I'm off to try and look clever in a pub quiz now, so I'm staying out of it- no doubt it'll rumble on for a while yet.

What's the point in turning this into a race issue? For years white people have used the media to slander blacks. These days half the people listening to hip-hop records are White anyway and very few rappers actually abuse whites in their songs but of course the media will do anything to tarnish the reputation of rappers whilst turning a blind eye to Heavy Metal or Rock both of which advocate as much violence in their lyrics

So because only some rappers do it that makes it ok?

Also I am not hot on heavy metal lyrics so if you could post some mainstream racist heavy metal lyrics that would be interesting.

I don't see the relevance of France in the issue, unless you are linking it to Patrice (I want to argue with you in Spanish) Evra in some way? In France the term 'Noir' is used for a black person. Negro does not exist in the French Language.

In Uruguay, the age of consent is 15 in general terms, but they are quite enlightened in legal terms as anyone under 18 may be 'corrupted' by an older person and therefore it is possible to bring a lawsuit against someone for corrupting a minor. So what is you deluded point BraindeadOpinion?

First of all it was shown that Evra's supposed quote of 'Dont touch me South American' (Sudamericana) was fabricated by Liverpool and said by Spanish speaking exoerts that it is not a known insult in the Spanish speaking world however had he said 'Sudaca' which translates as South American immigrant then that could be offensive. Evra didn't say that either.

My point is you think Suarez is allowed to call black people Negro in this country because its ok to say it in his country so is it ok for him to have sex with a 15 year old girl in this country because he can in Uruguay?

You still haven't answered whether you think he calls Johnson 'Neh-gro' yet either?

No it doesn't make it okay. My issue was with the fact that the initial comment stereotyped all Black rappers for racially abusing white people, which isn't the case. Of the 100s of rappers out there you could probably count the amount of cases of abuse towards whites on one hand.

If you read what I said I never said Heavy Metal lyrics included racial abuse
 
Many people on these boards claim Suarez is not racist. But surely these comment indicates a dislike of blacks.
