The thing is Liverpool fans are saying that french **** is a lying **** and i never said Suarez was guilty did I but the way you go on about Evra lying assumes that you think he is not guilty so Im saying until the charges are either dropped of Suarez found guilty then really you shouldnt be calling Evra a liar, works 2 ways.
And for the record I think Suarez did say something but it might be ok in South America and happens over there but Suarez didnt realize it was wrong to say it here, so I think he should be found not guilty but get a warning but then again that is my opinion and I dont know the full facts but neither does anyone else on here.

Darlo,it does'nt matter whats said on this thread, the fact that the gutter press have'nt unearthed any evidence against Suarez means there is'nt any,my take on it is the FA interviewed Suarez and hes said he called Evra something that he believes the man utd players call him and something thats acceptable in the Spanish speaking countries.
If you look at the threads on our board since Evra made the accusation most of us reds have said that if Suarez is found guilty with no doubt that he did make intentional racist remarks we'd turn our backs on him and want him out of our club.

But we're hardly going to do that until we see proof, just like any other clubs supporters would do.

Thats the right attitude to have, but you should follow the advice you give us and not jump to conclusions based on things that i dont think we know everything about. If Suarez is cleared then Evra will diserve the criticism. Not until then.

As for "why are black people allowed to say it" Because i dont think its possible to racist towards you own race.

I cant be arsed going through loads of threads/posts but in your opinion were racist utd posters calling KPR a "thick irish ****" and "a stupid paddy" etc?

Theres a few on here that have openly been racist but believe they have'nt because there target was white.

Double standards?

The problem with that(according to i think Swarbs)is that its the FA that have decided to charge him, which means that its taken out of Evra's hands and if Suarez is found innocent Evra is in the clear and free from any punishment.

Unless Suarez takes him to court should that scenario arise.

That isn't racism. Its xenophobia. Still discrimination and wrong though, but technically they're right. (to be a pedantic bitch about it)

Ahh come on JC,KPR as a Liverpool FC poster says things that annoy/upset Utd fans and they retalliate with racist/anti Irish comments and you think thats ok(i know you said its wrong but also you made excuses as to why you think its acceptable),KPR should have been ripped as Liverpool fan and not by his nationality.

Of course i did not mean to condone their comments.

Libel? If Evra is proven a liar then the FA could be the least of his concerns.

In that case the remarks were'nt xenophobic they were racist, not trying to score points JC just trying to put things into perspective.

How so? That comment was to say that i dont think the fact they were xenophobic makes them any better.
This is a massive non issue really since its all under the same thing so lets get back to Suarez.

according to news reports Suarez and LFC strenuously deny the players guilt and vow to clear his name,so if the FA finds him guilty of something as bad as racism and he believes himself innocent he should take legal advice(imo).

actually its not shergar that lives in my back garden but his son ... istabraq <ok> everyone knows tupac bought shergar in '01

Istabraq was a son on Sadlers Wells. Shergar didn't have alot of offspring, as he was kidnapped not long after he started stud duty . A real shame realy, because he was the most naturally gifted racehorse the world had ever seen, and had his offspring inherited his ability, then we may have seen some very talented race horse's

As a matter of fact, under Race Relations, KPR could claim a racist slur for that, because the Act doesn't just cover skin colour, it covers nationality and culture, which is why travellers can wave the Act in your face.

If I went up to Ferguson and shouted 'Oy, whisky nose!' he would be within his rights to accuse me of racism. Acts are often a matter of interpretation rather than what they say in concrete. Scots produce whisky, we're joking that a Scotsman is feasting on that and on that alone. A good lawyer could argue for that.

And xenophobia and racism often goes hand in hand.

Two things:

1) Sepp Blatter says that there isn't any racism in football. So I will take the FA charge as an attempt to undermine one of Liverpool's talented players since the FA are in Bacon Face's pocket.

2) The ones crying racism are the actual racists and can't cope with their insecurities. In other words: Patrice Evra.

That's all that matters and you Manyoo fanboys can kiss my ass.

There we are then. Confucius speaks.

Debate over, let's all pack up and go home.

The FA may be able to charge him and possibly ban him, but if they do I see a hefty Legal case following on closely. If he did call him by his nickname I think Evra would find it difficult to prove in court that he thought it was racist abuse. Then a defamation case against the FA may bring the whole game down into a horrible slanging match which i don't think is neccessary!
I don't know whether the comments were racist or not! but I think its farsical that he should be deamed a racist just by using the word "black", I think that makes a mockery of the actual issue of racism.
