So whats that now? Tubes Buses Fire brigades Nurses Teachers Barristers Posties Ambulance drivers University Lecturers Solicitors Midwives All taken strike action Any I forgot?
Aye right you are My sister bloke is a paramedic but hes only just qualified earlier this year so dunno if hes part of a union yet tbh Tories bout to make a no strikes and outlaw unions law soon im bettin Added to the list
It's funny that the minister for **** affairs is blaming prison shortages and the need for 400 convicts to be placed in copshop cells, the fault of barristers going on strike. Never miss a trick these ****s on blaming their inept incompetence on someone else. ****ers.
University Lecturers Solicitors Midwives After years of giving council works 1% payrises the government decided to offer a flat rate rise of £1950 per year to all council workers. For the lowest paid that's around 14%, for me as a qualified HLTA it's about 8%. In other words... they clearly did not fancy a national council worker strike!
I said from the beginning of this, I will not vote Labour if the strikes continue, and as I predicted, one strike will lead to another, it will not be long before the general public will not be onside and this could cost Labour, despite the unmentioned idea is for it to cost the Tories. I remember people stating months back, but it's not train drivers striking!
I dont think labour are backing any of the strikes are they? In fact i heard mick lynch today call them out asking where are they and why are they not out there with them. Did i get that wrong?
I'm sure Starmer would like to pretend to distance himself, because he knows damn well the consequences of doing so.
Well are they or not? From what i just said i heard today i dont think so. I dont want you blaming Labour for stikes that they arent even backing by accident cos that would show unparalleled ignorance
Maybe you should ask Starmer not me if he is backing the strikes, if not him what about the rest of his front benchers. Anyway, why are you so concerned by what I say. I look forward to a winter of discontent, it won't be long before the public turn on them.
She even said on TV a few weeks ago she was going to join a picket line, then there is this but hey whatever... https://www.theguardian.com/politic...strike-lisa-nandy-visits-picket-line-in-wigan
So you saying the Labour Party are not affiliated to the Trade Unions, I'd like to see Starmer declare that.
