LVG would probably order the recall clause taken out & stick a midfielder up front! Is he just copying SB?
Have you been watching him or are you just repeating the 'cool' view on him?
I'm not going to pretend I've watched him. He started for Sunderland the other day and aeems to have done intermittently since the middle of last season. They obviously see something in him. He was starting ahead of another not606 joke player who really isn't that bad in reality, Steven Fletcher. If Akpom or Hernandez were better than either of them, they wouldn't be playing in the Championship.
Obvious what I mean. Right now he isn't good enough for Arsenal so he's on loan in the Championship. The players that are considered laughable on here are PL players who don't need to drop to the Championship for games.
His stats are bad in really bad leagues. He also isn't a target man, hell I am taller than him. If we are going to go for an unproven short striker I'd rather go league 1 or someon like Wilson on a season long loan.
My guess would be someone was searching the net for a player with a decent goal total last season in foreign leagues and then started a rumor. I really doubt we would be interested in him.
Aye, he had an aberration at Boro for 18 games, but I can assure you he isn't a striker at Sunderland, despite what it might say on the squad sheet. He's a waste of a strikers shirt, we've been there and done it and it was a travesty.
How does it work if the player is to far away to get to us for a medical? The deal can go through with the caveat that he has to pass a medical?
Might be something to it then. Alyhough he may have just taken it from the other tweet.
