Strange one....

Anyone in a position to translate the gist?

This is what Adrian Wong (who posted the picture on fb) put on the comments

"that means tigers always play well in away game...17 away games we had no lose...and say this night game will win Leeds Unites..."

direct quote so don't blame me for the typos, if Leeds Unites tonight we might be in trouble though.

I'm happy with the current set up things are looking good and stability for the future looks certain wouldn't want to risk everything we have on a couple of years cheap (expensive more like lol) thrills. We just dodged a bullet once about 8 months ago would anyone really want to stand in front of the gun again and play Russian roulette?

Anyway I bet there's absolutely nothing in it!

From what i can tell, there is nothing in it and the only reason the subject got raised was because of my tongue in cheek comment at the top of this thread (which i think somebody else would have put if i didn't)
The newspaper only writes up about us playing Leeds tonight according to the only partial translation we have so far.

<sorry>

You need some money behind you to oil the machine, but would you really want a megabucks to come in and artificially pump the club?

It might be different for you Leeds fans because of where you've come from - but from a City point of view -I'd want the club to be financially well off enough sign the right players to allow us to compete as well as we could - but something would stick in the throat if we ever ended up buying the league.

I would agree, I don't think we would really need a Roman Abramovich type to compete at the top of the PL, but it would take more time. Bloody Ridsdale, the thing is we could have done just as well without the financial ruin, half the players in the team came through our youth system, and we didn't need stupidly over-priced and overpaid players like Robbie Fowler and Seth Johnson.

Your signing of Seth Johnson's makes Jimmy Bullard's look like a decent deal.

The biggest worry for me - about all of these big investors, is that it's simply not sustainable any more. None of the big clubs are viable businesses. It will pop one day - and the kind of financial problems we've all seen will seem like nothing.

It might not be for another 20 years - but how can Manchester City now ever get back to responsible finances?

Spot on with this! When it all goes pop the world of football will become a very different place and it'll be very interesting to see the state of football in 20 years time. I imagine it'll be something along the lines of 2 professional leagues max and the rest will become amateur leagues.
