I'm on French and Dutch at the moment, and about to start on German, hopefully. It's the only thing that's stopping me going mad with boredom between matchdays now I'm finished with Uni, and can't find a full-time job. Spanish would be useful, but we were never offered it in my school

Ahh right. Well good luck. I know some German, so if ever you need some help. I'm not fluent mind but I'm okay. And the same with French, even though I can't stand it. And Spanish wasn't offerered!?!? You missed out, its a lovely language.

Hopefully the Dutch will help with the German. My girlfriend is Dutch, and she can understand what the Germans are saying, although she has trouble with the cases. I was able to write German okay when I was learning it in school, but I could never think quickly enough to speak it.

I'm a big fan of French though, I did it in school, and a module in Uni; French for Engineers. C'est pas trop difficile a parler, sauf la lettre "r"! :p

I also have a bit of Irish, like most people over here, but it's taught like ****e, so even though everybody has to learn it for 9 years, at least, there are so few who can actually speak it properly. It doesn't help that it's ungodly in its complexity either!

Indeed Irish is very difficult, the accent is a lovely accent though.

Stephen Ireland is having a medical at Newcastle later. He'll be on loan initally. I wonder how much of his reported £70,000 a week wages Newcastle will be paying.

Ah sure we had to have something going for us, to make up for the lack of physical attractiveness, and the famines!

    Laptop Brain,

I'm using it, and this one.. both - but obviously this one needs priority. :)

 Phew! Been doing lots of manual work so far today, shifting stuff with my old man, then I took some photographs outside, even though its FREEZING here.

Sat at home watching SSN with a nice cup of hot choc, sounds good :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Jub,

I doubt it she likes me out from under her feet.

I said 2-0 but 1-0 and a penalty save will do for me. UTP

I really want my family to come up to North Yorkshire, they always bring lots of Oatcakes, I only get them 3 times a year!

They should be coming up Easter, and then I'll get my Oatie Fix ;)

What has everyone been up to today?

I've been out to give blood. Made some soup. Just cracking open a can of beer to have with my dinner, before the football comes on. West Brazil Albion against Wigan, should be a treat! ;) (And yes, my life is almost as exciting as Sarge's!)

Admin work mate. Looking at apprenticeships now

Other thing I forgot to mention is that I had my dinner a couple of hours ago, lovely Shepherds Pie and peas, lovely :)

This evening I shall be watching things I have recorded on Sky+, at the minute it's Come Dine With Me, great programme, the narrator is hilarious. I shall be keeping an eye on the football scores via the Sky Sports Score Centre
