It wasn't ironed though.

Whatever about the rights and wrongs of Stokes attending a non football related event for his mate, Green was hooking up with terrorists in an official capacity and **** all is said.

When Rangers were about Goram is pictured with UVF flags and it takes 20 years before anyone in the media says anything. David Healy got pictured with terrorists and what is said? Not one thing. I mentioned that last one in my pointless point scoring thread. Why? Because it is pointless.

What has he done to embarass the club?

I hope that was tongue in cheek? Seriously man, he is a scum-bag. His aul-lad's pub was scorched last year in a drug war and prior to that he hung up a very tasteless banner over the pub, telling an international guest of ours (QE the 2nd) that she wasn't welcome. And now Stokes attends a bash for a thug.

Anyway, you aren't even Irish. You're British for ****'s sake.

Who is this Monkey? He's born in Ireland yet he's not Irish? I suppose you're not Scottish either even though you were born there?

Haven't you heard of the Good Friday Agreement? He's entitled to be British, Irish or both. Just as you're entitled to consider yourself British, Scottish or both. Its called equality.

Is stokes not our best guy for scoring goals away from home...some daft stat like that anyway?

Keep him...for all the strikers we have they aren't really putting the majority of chances away in the league

If we got rid of every wee Ned at Celtic, Scott Brown wouldn't be captain

And his politics are only coming to light because papers are desperate for a story...does he wear armbands for dead irishmen...wave flags...bless himself when he scores?

Some of the comments on here are interesting, coming from Celtic fans.

I thought all Celtic fans were into the Irish stuff. It seems though that there's a few that have nae to do with the Irish and seem very Anglicized.

Thought those kind of Glasgae boys would be more drawn tae Rangers?

No one should tell you were you should attend. Check out the places inviting the British Army. Among the biggest murderers ever. 'but ats ra troopz by ra way'.

What the **** has this got to do with Stokes staying at Celtic?

Give me a shout when they murder as many as the British Army.

'but ra troopz' ...

What exactly is your point? The British Army kill people so it's okay for Stokes to act like a dick?

Completely illogical.

Racist ****. You know I'm half black/half Chinese and you call me a monkey!!!

****ing beelin' about this <grr>

Stokes isn't good enough to continually keep hold of, regardless of goals scored away from home or of repeated incidents of him being a wee neddy fud.

It's that simple. All the IRA stuff is just extra ammo (no pun intended) for him to be jettisoned quicker than if he hadn't, and if he's not clever enough to recognise that then he's probably not oging to wisen up any time soon.

In terms of what he brings on the pitch? Important goals on occasion - his biggest performance for me was probably the 3-3 with Killie, but at the same time he has next to no pace. He's one of our slower forwards. Good touch on him, good at linking with Hooper but all in all, he's just not turned in to the player he should have been.

Get him OOT.

i dont really give a **** what he does in his own time - its the fact he is constantly injured that is pissing me off!
