Stokes is back in training. Lets see what he brings when fit and take it from there.

His support for his friend is of no concern to anyone but himself.

Well said Rebs. Ryan wasnt my cuppa but when ya start that **** tellin people where they can spend their spare time its over.

You'd wonder what the club said to him?

I do understand the notion of representing the club at all times but Stokes was doing **** all wrong. Turning up at a do for his mate is a lot different to "showing support" for "a terrorist" organisation.

The 'jump-on-the-bandwagon' clamour for heads rolling on this forum is unbelievable at times and some posters don't seem to learn any lessons. It wasn't so long ago that Neil Lennon and Georgios Samaras were getting knee-jerk abuse. Remember when Scott Brown seemed to be a bit of a headless chicken? I'm only interested in Anthony Stokes' ability as a Celtic player and while I'm not totally convinced one way or the other, I think he needs to be given the opportunity to see how he performs after such a long time out - no doubt, Neil Lennon will, thankfully, give him that opportunity ... unlike, as would appear to be the case, some on here.

What if Trev?

I would have to sit facing the wall and talk to myself to stay out of bother.

Infact so would your Govt.

Joe McDonnell was an incredible man. Heartbreaking story. My mate wrote and performed a play about the hunger strikers and performed it to the families. He did a bit about Joe McDonnells family that had grown men crying..... Not me as I am a double tough bastard.

Stokes should have had more sence. Freind or no friend just stay away, or wear a hat and glasses and don't get photographed. Him being there had nothing to do with Celtic, but he knew, or should have, someone would have made a big deal of it.

If he's ****ing about or boozing and not training as he should while recovering then that is of more a concern than attending a memorial. His attitude needs to improve full stop. He thinks he is better and more important than it is. He won't walk back in the side. Watt and lassad have come on the scene and are ahead of him unless he proves otherwise.

His da also has a high opinion of himself, he's a **** too

Chico Green was in Belfast the other month getting pictured with bastards and not a word was said. Different for wee clubs.
