He will, put the fact of the matter is if tomorrow I smashed your car up, you would ring the police and I would get done for criminal damage if I was caught.

And it would a very different scenario in a completely different context <ok> As I say this is common place in and around football grounds. Was it not Bez and Rob Lee who let Shearers tyres down, or covered Lee Clarks car in flour? All criminal damage in the real world but not in the world of training ground pranks amongst millionaires.

They are practical jokes, something tells me this wasn't.

It has been going on all week. Owen tweeted something last weekend. Jones has just reacted badly because they have been a bit insensitive. He won't have been the first and he wont be the last. If he'd hit Glenn Whelan with brick it would be different.

No harm done and I'd be amazed if the police will be involved. Practical jokes or not, its still criminal damage and highlights the difference between the real world and their world. Criminal damage does not come into it and its a mass overreaction by the club.

To be fair I'd be surprised if the police did get involved because that generally doesn't happen between footballers, I seem to remember the other week when Ivanovic was bitten by Suarez, they were people calling for Ivanovic to press charges yet Ivanovic had absolutely no interest in pressing charges.

Just a bit lark about among team mates, no malice or anything.

I'd be quite happy for Kenwyne to throw a brick through my windscreen if it meant I was a pro footballer earning thousands a week, and my car was a Porsche  They have a silly life and live in a world of make believe. Its why they never grow up and things which seem to shocking to the man on the street is just a prank or revenge to them.

Lucky bastardos!

Jones apologises for 'mistaken identity'.

So he smashed the wrong windscreen. Even funnier.

They all must have Kevin the arsehole from auto glasses phone number

To be fair Jones smashed his car window, which is criminal damage.

Wow what a big deal. Do you honestly think they don't damage each others possessions? Have you never heard the stories of flash big time charlies turning up in their Armani suits, only to find them burning in a bin after training. Tyres being slashed etc etc. I think Glenn will be able to stretch to a new windscreen. Boys will be boys.

When did that happen. I'm surprised it wasn't all over the news for about a week!!! <whistle>
