I thought we'd all got on board with this? He's not being sacked by this regime. Most journo's confirmed this is the case.

The story was he was safe unless we got dragged into a relegation dogfight... Unfortunately in 7 days we've gone from being comfortable to a relegation dogfight, so there's some grounds for him being replaced I think... Or more accurately hope.

I think his body language screams he's been told he's getting the full season. I don't see one ounce of concern.

I’m afraid your assessment seems right. His body language was “he doesn’t care”.

Jenas isn't IMHO employed for his pundit skills. He's poor at best and his mouth runs away with itself. He did it yesterday and had to back track a few times.
He's also not employed IMHO on the BBC prime time slot as a presented because of his extensive history presenting similar programmes regionally and nationally.
Ultimately though he's entitled to his view and to speak it. In the same way as we are entitled to ignore him or switch off.

Always Ashley, mate. Always.

I don't agree this season

He'd set everything up to leave before the season started, but that was stopped through no fault of his own.

He then spent a reasonable amount on players and despite the fact I want bruve out I don't think we've been fortunate with injuries or covid..

Ashley has destroyed this club I hate the man, but if we're talking purely about this season I don't think he's done anything wrong and I point my finger firmly at the premier league for flushing this cities golden ticket down the toilet Infront of us.

There's a strong media agenda against nufc, so it's nice to see some people fighting our corner.

They're propaganerists and it's gone for two decades... Its gone on so long that large sections of fans from all over the world have spread the false narrative that nufc fans think they should be winning the league and are deluded.

It's got out of control and it'll never go away because they've poisoned public opinion over a vast amount of time and it's impossible to stop it.

Jake is my favourite presenter.
He doesn't sign up to a media position... he thinks and speaks for himself.
All the pro Bruce ****e from some pundits is just idiots trying to get a bite out of the fan base. We are that large it gets them column inches and reactions which raises their profiles.
Do you see high profile ex players or managers jumping on the Bruce bandwagon every week?
Nope.. they are to experienced and clever to be dragged into that and see it for what it is.
As a fan base right now we are an easy target because we are all pissed off and a bit low.

Ashley. He loves a gamble. But this time he’s ****ed up.

How can Bruce actually take this much more. You have to give him credit for being completely naive about the situation.

He’s completely bonkers.

Agreed.

We knew this was going to be the outcome though didn't we? Might not necessarily be a bad thing as it may mean that PIF are happy for things to play out and that if we went down they would just bin him off.

There has to be a reason why Ashley is happy for relegation to be risked so much by keeping cabbage guy in situ.

Steve Bruce on threat of relegation… “When the daffodils are up the crux of the season is upon us. We’ve still got a lead. But it seems Newcastle are the only ones in it. There are 6/7 teams.” On tactics… “You can talk about tactics as much as you like, it’s all about players”.
