He's doing fine... The football hasn't been great, but I could finally see something last night and hopefully they can get something going. I'd rather stick with Bruce and go from there post takeover
The only difference is we played with a high line and hassled them when we were off the ball, usually we sit deep and stand off the opposition. It's a pretty basic change, but one Liverpool didn't expect initially. Liverpool had a goal cleared off the line, they were good for the win. We should play high line and gegenpress every single week, its the modern game. We are way behind when we don't do that, we have players perfectly suited to that style. Fit them well last night.
Peak bruce. not wanting to improve by looking at better players... happy to stick with a cheap option who is a squad player at best.
I want to fight against Bruce but I'd argue that Clark should be a first team starter. Deserves a new contract.
Cant pick on every little thing. Clarks been really, really good since coming in. That 3 with him one side and Schar the other is promising.
So proven beyond doubt we will never and can never progress with Bruce in charge. Took him 12 months to realise we needed to be further up the pitch. Did it once, then picked the exact same "system" that got him a lucky point v Liverpool against a vastly different team in Leicester. The glaring issue in midfield - whether it's picking Shelvey which keeps us 20 yards too deep, or playing two regardless of opposition - seems beyond his comprehension. The personnel, apart from the abysmal Ritchie, was right for the match, but the formation was wrong. Again CM was woefully exposed, because every player we have there is limited. We could have both Longstaffs playing behind Almiron, or someone like Hendrick sitting deep to allow Longstaffs to transition. But asking the Longstaffs to simply work out how to attack and defend, when Almiron is poor wide right and Joelinton anonymous wide left, is insanity. We're playing with a wing back and a wide midfielder, and I counted 4 crosses during the entire match - none of which were attacked by anyone. It's just simple, basic **** ups from the manager that will put us in danger of relegation, which is identical to McLaren? Didn't Schteve get an unlikely result against a big club in the last four weeks of his reign as well? Simply, this idiot has to go. But to be replaced by who/what? Some other useless Ashley stooge no-mark twat, no doubt.
we need someone who can back up Wilson when we move forward hence why Joelinton is not the answer and a waste of a place because I can't see what he brings to the team
The fans are showing themselves to be unfair I feel today They've complained all season about possesion stats etc etc Today nufc had 47% possession and 7 chances to Leicesters 9 Leicester are one of the best sides in the league.. We drew vs Liverpool last game There's signs of inprovement.
The left because he's the most one footed player going. He started scoring when he was moved there last season
