Bruce was probably praying for our match to be called off tonight. I’m watching it as it’s possibly the last game we will have to watch this season.
Bruce laughing at Newcastle fans again this morning... I have a feeling the entire fan base is going to end up with egg on their faces.
I will give Bruce one chance to prove himself and here’s the test. We just grabbed a hard fought and fortuitous point against one of the best teams in world. However there are tweaks that should be made to that line up and tactic for our next game because Leicester play more through the middle and so we will need to do it differently. If Bruce makes a tweak or two and sets us up to play specifically against Leicester then I will give him credit. If he picks the exact same set up and basically says “do that again” then he will have proven beyond all doubt he’s utterly useless.
Lol, one draw and everyone is back to giving him chances. **** that. He did well yesterday but so what? Too late. He needs to **** off
Watch the highlights mate. It just looks like we got battered again. They missed some glorious chances. Darlow made some good saves and that Schar clearance. On a different day it could have been 0-4. Having said that a point is a point.
That's the thing though. We should lose that game 99/100 so not fussed about the score. It was the performance. We played with more intent. It looked like we had a game plan. The players actually looked like they could give a ****. Overall I was very pleased. Like I have said previously though is that Steve Bruce is not fit to manage any team let alone a PL team.
My point about giving him a chance was more to highlight the fact he got a very lucky point and will 100% pick the exact same team and formation for the next fixture, because he’s a bone headed ****ing dinosaur. Worst of all, Rodgers will know this as well and will play a side to exploit our many weaknesses and win comfortably. Meanwhile Bruce will shrug and say something like “look, we got a point off Liverpool, why would I change the side?”. He lives in his own little world, it’s ingrained in him that 90s football of pick your team and let it work itself out. It was really saying “heres some rope”.
