I'm swaying towards Bruce staying being the better option because I'm not convinced any of the alternatives are better but he can't go into next season with overly negative tactics again not to mention the failure to rotate the squad unless you hold a gun to his head. Two strikers would be nice too not Hernandez isolated and relying on Diame to turn up whenever he feels like it.
I'm happy for him to go, the last Premier League season and most of the previous season were dire. Though if it's a choice between changing owners and changing managers, I'll definitely prefer a change of ownership.
Bruce has his failings, but there were a lot of circumstances which conspired against us during our last relegation, the injuries to key players took its toll during important parts of the season, and the antics of our owners over the name change etc created an acidic feel around the place. Brucie spent a great deal of time trying to play peacemaker between us the fans and the owners. Yes i`m sure there were a number of things in hindsight he may have chosen to do differently, but on the whole I am still behind Bruce, he has managed to put together a nucleus of players which with sensible additions should do us proud, but no doubt TWT..
I tend to agree but the alternatives I've seen mentioned have no track record at all in the Prem, maybe it's better the big fat devil you know...
We are not the biggest club ever to be knocked out of qualifying for europe,we are not the only club to lose an FA Cup final or to be relegated but the fact remains he got us there no one else has and he has done it probably working under difficult circumstances. So yes when it really mattered he got us there.
I seem to recall West ham got knocked out at the same stage in Europe didn`t they last season as we did the season before ?????
They did the same as us, they played a reserve team, so much so that for some of them it was their only first team appearances.
I'm Happy with what the club has achieved in the last 4 season under Bruce i have been privileged to see the club accomplish things i never thought i would see in my lifetime and as for being a loser maybe you should take a long hard look in the mirror in my life i am also happy with what i have achieved.
Privileged to have seen the performance at Bolton & many, many others like it? When it mattered, really mattered he's come up short despite his success. You're not Happy.
I'm very happy sorry if that upsets you and i'm happy being a loser with the things i have it's a great life being a loser and enjoying all the good things i have because of it.
Too many abject performances by far last season and we had the same match loss figures as teams in the bottom eight. Theres a nagging feeling with me that we got away with one last season, and maybe Bruce used up the last of his luck v Derby at the KC.
We definitely had some rip your hair out performances and losing to some teams we should not have, but again so did other top teams and most of the teams that are still in the championship like Brighton,Derby who played more attractive football are still in the championship.
First championship promotion, failed to beat two already relegated teams then an already promoted Cardiff on the final day. Went up thanks to a spectacular goalkeeper collapse at Watford who had two keeper injuries on the final day and their academy keeper making an almighty **** up.
