It would be nice to think he learnt a lesson from that, but I doubt it. What exactly has been his imput into our promotion? Closing the ticket office, continually needling the fans by persistently avoiding using Hull City in all media communications, keeping schtum for months on end while his manager laboured, going AWOL in the final run in when the club needed a lift and some leadership? A less deserving character it's hard to imagine.

I remember seeing him lift the cup on the big screen, and being impressed that most of the fans near me had the class to simply clap.
Not really. I was hoarse after the match, and wasn't the loudest. And my knees were stiff from standing and jumping.
The weak types are the ones who quit because of the owner. If we all did that every time we had an owner we didn't like there's be no fans at all. Owners come and go, we stay loyal to the club. Although people do seem more sensitive and entitled these days. No one is forced to boo anyone, or to argue and disagree with anyone else. That's called free will and making your own choices.
When the name change was on, you reckoned that because Allam had bought the club, he could do what he wanted with it cos it was his money. Well I can decide what to do with my money and I'm not giving any of it to a man I despise
At some point you would quit going if the owners changed things that you didn't agree with, some people have more backbone and principles than you. I suppose its like still going to Nazi Germany for your yearly vacation.
Made a thread about this a week ago. People weren't happy with him as a prospect if we were still C'ship, doubt they would be now.
I see. So those of us who demonstrated against previous owners but still kept going to support the club are all nazis? Brilliant. Please bestow upon us all more of your wisdom. Unless you've now quit the forum because some said something you didn't like. Unless you're a teenager, you'd know we've had far worse owners and been treated far worse too. I didn't quit then. I wouldn't quit now regardless of what's done. I'm not a quitter. I'm also not a nazi nor am I a supporter of nazis either.
I'm in my 40s, have been a fan for 35 years, have been to probably more than 500 games, and I think The Allams are our worst owners ever.
