His words are very touching, and very encouraging indeed. The fact the he said he feels reborn at our club, and is already expressing his love for us before he's even kicked a ball, shows just how much love, passion and warmth there is at the Toon.

He has no doubt be welcomed very warmly. A friend from work and his mates were lucky enough to meet him, and apparently, he couldn't stop smiling when all the lads were asking for pics with him, and asking him to sign their shirts. His smile was apparently almost as cheeky as Tiote's smile.

This is before he's even kicked a ball!

His reaction to his welcome, just shows what our club can do for a player who's not feeling to good about himself, or is out of form or low on confidence. He was at a really prosperous club in Man city, but was sold as part of a deal for a better player, and was rotting at a dead end club.

I can tell he loves being here, and feels loved. I'd love for us to sign him, i think he could be a legend like No-no-Nolan, and the one and only Joey Barton. I can tell that these 3 will get on extremely well, and Stephen Ireland could end up playing the best football he's ever played, right here at the Toon!

Oh he smiled when they were taking photos? That must mean he's LOVING it.

Oh wait, he was miserable when I got an autograph from him, maybe he's HATING it.


Or maybe you can't judge how happy a player is from one thing.
 
Wait until he steps onto the pitch for us man, its all media hype to get clowns excited, which you seem to have just fallen for. Every player says their excited, they are hardly going to come out in the local press and say they cant be arsed playing for us.

I mean I love him, but he writes an article every time a season ticket holder sneezes
