That there game was the one and only time iv'e come away happy, after we lost a game. A great display of football, and we didn't even play badly.
I remember us v Spurs for Bo's heroics, they were beatable after all!
Still think this was the best footballing team we played in the PL, remembering walking back to the car thinking "**** me they're good"
Could well be but I'm sure it was from nor far from the halfway line. Either way it was a ridiculous goal!
I'd always remembered the Hunt goal v Chelsea to be a free kick from miles away too, he must have scored one for us at some point away from home?!

NOhttp://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11688/8019450/ 'Wolves to listen to Hunt bids....'
Who would want him back at the KC?
That's so weird, I could have sworn that Hunt scored that goal from near the halfway line from the free kick against Chelsea, but here's the icing on the cake!

Yep got it mixed up with Geos match- still we won that one! We had our moments in the Prem before it all went Bullards upBo's heroics was a nil nil
We beat them at theirs the season before, Geo free kick, week after arsenal and the season before they taught us a footballing lesson
I thought at the time that Defoe's 3rd was one of the best strikes of a ball I've seen in the flesh.
Season opener in 09/10, scored the first premier league goal of the season in our early kick off with a free kick from almost the halfway line, no one got on the end of it, it bounced in the middle of the box and into the top corner of the goal. Shame Drogba scored a goal of equal flukeyness in injury time with a skewed cross that lobbed the keeper and bent into the top corner to beat us 2-1, I thought we played magnificent that day and were great value for a point. Oh well, not like it would have made much difference anyway in te gran scheme of things...
