Just did some quick number crunching, of the 15 teams that have featured in all three seasons since we came up we have comfortably the lowest combined agent fees over the three seasons at £5.5m, despite spending £128m - the 7th most of the 15 (The 8th most is £78m) and buying 17 players, the joint 9th most.

This is the kind of thing that makes me so proud of how we try and go about things.

We spent ~£35m on new arrivals, plus extensions for several players...that's pretty damned cheap. Note that Swansea spent £1m more, with a small transfer budget, likely the result of getting some players who were out of contract...there ain't no such thing as a free pickup.
