    Posted this on another thread when this whole name-changing ridiculousness occurred...

Think about it. The publicity would have been easily avoided had he handed an "Owen style dossier" around to discreet potential suitors... But he didn't do that, and nobody is asking why... "

    Sorry, but I feel Ashley is a genius if you (no doubt well intentioned) idiots (in this sense entirely) think this is a good idea, and worse, YOUR idea. It isn't, it's probably some kind of factor in the thinking upstairs...

    MA: "What's up Darth Llambias?"
    DL: "Apart from having to witness the shark attack which is you eating your greggs, your dark lordedness, I just think the rebel alliance may be prompted into action if we change the name of their beloved ground..."

    DL: "I see, we get sponsorship from Nike, and because it isn't AS chavy they all get on with life, or else we keep it as Sportsdirect Arena, they complain and come and buy the old name back, giving us money for nothing!
