Definitely. Good opportunity to move the club shop to the East as well. Be very interesting to see the plans and drawings if/when they lodge the planning permission. I'd take the opportunity to change all of the turnstiles as well tbh. Those floor to ceiling metal bars feel like you are entering some sort of maximum security prison. And they always clip the back of my heels when I go in <laugh>
If there was some seating and the concourses with a bit more user friendly space and offering wise I am sure they would get more people in early and spending money

I always assume that the East Stand is so busy because people in West/South/North use those turnstiles to get in when they walk over from Black Cat House/Tavern direction? Queues always seem massive outside the East Stand - is that reflected elsewhere in the stadium? What are people's experiences?
We always use our proper turnstile. We walk over the railway bridge, past ALS and then into the SEC. Personally, I think the season cards should be locked down so you can only go in the ones designated to your card/ticket.

What's what I think too, but before I start blaming all the North/West/South standers for clogging up "my" turnstile I wanted to get my facts straight :emoticon-0140-rofl:

People standing talking in the walkway that separated the lower and upper blocks does my nut in as well. If they want to have a chinwag then **** off underneath to the concourse.

South stand and I think SEC will only let tickets for that area in and those tickets won't allow admittance to turnstiles of other areas. This since they tried to restrict access to South Stand concourse.

Not sure you can access the West via the East stand but you defo can for the North and South stands. It may have changed but i vaguely recollect some kind of barrier between the North and West stands. I could be totally wrong mind. I've only once tried to access through a different turnstile and my season card didn't work so not tried it again since to be honest apart from derby day when us North standers couldn't get in due to a police blockade

Same here <laugh>

You'd think we'd have got the hang of it by now.

Would it be possible to create more space in the North Stand concourse? Either extend it or create an area outside?
This very same question was just asked over the road by a new member, hmmm
The answer is no.

EDIT
Having woken up this morning with a clear head and given the matter further thought I shall amend my answer to yes. It would be possible to extend the concourse however it would be complicated by the fact that the repositioned turnstiles would then mean that people would be queuing on the road to get in. I'm not sure that this would be allowed by planning, maintaining access for emergency vehicles etc.
So in theory yes practically probably no.
Who decided to put that aquatic centre so bloody close to the stadium?

No idea of the reason or context of this post. Why as, such a question?

The stadium was designed with extension in mind. As in, you could add a section on top of any part of the ground if we were in a position to need it. But that’s on top of the stands without any extension currently. Ie, east and south. Utterly stupid asking about the north stand

I'm talking about the lower bowl concourse, obviously not the upper tier

I'm somewhat confused here.
You appear to have asked at least 4 times today about extending the concourse and have received various answers, yet you have now started a new thread (which has now been merged) about extending the concourse in the North stand despite asking almost the exact same question earlier.
Could you please enlighten us as to what level of information you require given the responses you received earlier.

Where woukd you suggest? “Outside” is in the only space in the exterior which has an overhanging tier. So how and, more so, why, do you feel there is the need to extend?

And why ask the question 4 times?

If we knew your angle, maybe we’d be able to have a debate about it

I disagree, I think most would go to pubs as they do now. People have rituals. Just my opinion mind. God knows I might be wrong, ask the wife, it happens occasionally!
