Well, I'm sure the Yorkshire people, pretty much the only ones who like that inferior piece of crap, will not be too disappointed with this! The houses nearby the east stand might hate it though <laugh>

At least its proper rugby, not the union s****, where they play turns in kicking the ball as high as they can into space,
Well done the club I say.....<ok>

Union is proper Rugby. League is for the Yorkshire/Lancashire peasants

Now now chaps takes all sorts. I'm a union man myself.

I do think its a a real coup for the club. Should truely **** the pitch up though <laugh>

<laugh> Might make it better for our lads, with the likes Citeh and Arsenal struggling to pass it around.

Rugby shouldn't make much of a mess of a pitch at all. It's football which does the damage.

All one needs to do is to let the grass grow a little longer for the running game and then all will be fine.

To tell the truth, I have no real affinity to either code.
I would rather watch X Factor than rugby (either). <laugh>
In fact I'd go as far to say, that the grass they play on would be better used as grazing land for sheep.
At least sheep have a use.

Maybe that's why they've chosen SJP.

To be honest I don't watch any rugby any more. I never liked the League game which stopped for every tackle and had no flankers. Union used to be a wonderful sport when I played but not that they've widened the lineout, brought in replacements (there goes the war of attrition right there), the pointless scrum laws, the ability to call 'mark' whilst moving or in the air and the game has gone. I used to go to every international that I could, play in every game that I could. Now I don't recognise the game any more and it's just become a hideous rehash of the H&S Compensation Lawer culture.

Maybe Mike will use the money we gain to buy some good players rather than a bunch of middle of the road B and C internationals. And a new manager. And a DOF who is interested in more than how much money we can save. And a backroom staff with some talent. And................

Watching football focus, Paul Clement for manager? He has gone and on learnt under Ancelloti at Chelsea, Paris and Real Madrid. Great learning and experience.

Agree with a lot of that. <ok> love the game but it's so frustrating now. I'm all for allowing true replacements (there's always the chance of genuine injuries) but at least restrict them. when they basically replace the whole pack in the 2nd half makes it a farce.
