    I think I'll go with:
Cudicini; Corluka, Kaboul, Bassong, Rose; Lennon, Livermore, Carroll, Townsend; Dos Santos, Pavlyuchenko.
Hopefully the likes of Pienaar, Kranjcar and Kane will get on from the bench.

I see there's been some revised team sheet since I started this thread, as I said at the time, guessing the team before Thursday would be difficult :)

Really looking forward to the game - COYS.

Well, of the teams posted before midnight yesterday, (my deadline for this mini-competition), it seems at 9, I got the most. So I hereby declare myself the winner :)

I knew it would be difficult and so it proved. Defoe starting was a real 'left field' selection, but one person I believe did call that correctly.

More importantly, onto the game. I'm pleased Kaboul is rested and that Walker is fit enough to play tonight.

I predict a win, and while I don't do score predictions, it woudn't surprise me if we top the group tonight after winning by three clear goals or more.

Great result for us in the other game, with a draw. COYS!!!!!

Win tonight and qualification should be ours <ok>

Makes sense to give JD some game time after missing out last weekend, doubt he'll do 90, as I think it will be the same side as it was v Pool, him and Ade up front on Sunday.

Pav is annoying me, wasting opportunity after opportunity.

More in the game than Defoe though, who has missed one easy chance and done little else.

Does Gio have a right foot? Seems he can't even pass the ball with it let alone have a shot. Ridiculous! Just have a swing of it and see what happens like Bale does.Oh well, at least he's seeing some of the ball I suppose.

How are we not winning this though? Sums up last season in a way.

Look like a team that hasn't played together much.

Commentators suggesting the hairdryer treatment by Harry at HT.
Pav is not interested in playing anyone in.
Who was that put the cross in that nobody went for- think it was Gio, he wasn't impressed no one was there.

It was Gio and Defoe had a go at him for not passing it to his feet. There's a lot of frustration.

He rarely does (Pav that is). Can see him scoring a couple tonight, it's the sort of thing he does.
