Lots of endeavour, but the quality has been lacking.
Gaps between the FBs and CBs are far too big and Leeds are exploiting them with ease.
The front 3 needs to work more as a unit.

The disappointment in Alan Smith’s voice when that was offside was ridiculous (not that it should ever have been a pen anyway).

We haven't played badly but it's reverted to that default of waiting for an individual bit of quality to make the difference instead of producing it as a team.
They seem to forget that we don't actually have any quality individuals so the wait will be a long one.
Been a hard watch, we are totally devoid of confidence at home, De Zerbi needs to produce the team talk to end team talks here. The bench really offers very little to make us more creative other than a Maddison cameo and that is clutching even more straws than my post earlier.

Tel has been both the most attacking threat but also makes some poor decisions and needs not to go anywhere near our goal.

Muani, a bit like Tel, looks bright but achieves very little. Again the final pass is missing or just the wrong decision.
The MF has done ok and showing the necessary fight.
Set-pieces look out best bet of a goal though.
And one other thing...if Danso gets a card then why not the two Leeds players, including the stamp on Tels foot?

A poor half but would probably be a goal up if we had a quality CF, Richarlison has had the touch of a Giraffe in this game. Tel needs to trust his left foot more and get past the fullback on the outside. This game could go either way, Leeds are up for it, no beach in sight.

General lack of cohesion. As ever we need someone to control the play in midfield. Can Maddison do that on 95% of the season out and no recent gametime.
