Socrates (no not the footballer you ignorant mofos) the philosopher once said that “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.”
If this is true then those running our club are truly wise beyond belief.

Those geniuses have managed to orchestrate a situation where Villa and Newcastle have both won as many games at our place as we have this season!

Leeds are the next team looking ensure we have an away day to Lincoln next season. Somehow, they managed to lose to us this season so will be determined not to be the ONLY team we'll do the double this season.

Leeds take great pride in not being Man Utd but have an unhealthy obsession with losing at Wembley as their FA Cup semi final loss to Chelsea proved.
They have lost there on their last 3 visits but they got a way to go to catch us up...we've lost our last 6 there!

Leeds have a catwalk model playing up front whereas we have a geezer who models himself on a ****ing pidgeon ffs!

Argueably, Leeds greatest achievement is not being Barnsley whereas Tottenham's greatest achievement is not wearing a ****ty red kit like some jammy team who've bored their way to a league title and a probable CL victory....ffs...us relegated, them champions of England and Europe.. and people wonder I dont believe in God, hate humanity, enjoy stamping on cats and ****ing hate dogs...****em em all...bastard mofo ****witted ****headed ****erty ****ing ****ed up ****ers

For those of us of a certain age, playing Leeds at home in a 'must win or relegation beckons' game means surely only one thing....1975!
A 4-2 win and one of the great nights at the Lane - and boy, do we need another like it this weekend! <yikes>

An unforgettable night. I remember that my family went on holiday the next day to watch the Moto GP's on the continent (at about 3 am, to beat the traffic), but NOTHING would stop being there that night.

One of the best atmospheres that I experienced at The Lane.

There were two home games that season that stand out: this one and the Chelsea game. We managed to win both and the atmosphere in WHL was amazing for both.
Mind you, the aggro at the Chav game was off the scale. I was up on the Shelf (obvs) but there were running fights around the pitch.
Oh, the good old days!!! <yikes><laugh>

PS I imagine that Alfie Conn may have some personal input on these games? <laugh>

Brilliant. Easier to laugh when it’s not your own club fcking up (for once…… remember we have had Ken Bates and Massimo Cellini as owners…..,)

Spurs vs Hull in 1978 was similar.

For those with decent video forensic skills,
do a Blade Runner on the first 5 seconds
(behind the goal net) and you will see a very
young RDBD.

Apparently Vicario is close to being fit and might be available for the Leeds game.

Would you stick with Kinsky or out Vicario back in?

Kinsky has to stay in.
Vicario has already signalled his departure and even if he was a better keeper, which is debatable, the last thing we need right now is a flappy keeper who looks to blame anyone (usually less senior) around him for his own mistakes.

500cc beck then.
I remember Barry Sheene as a little kid.
I was really worried about him because he was full of metal.

That year, Sheene had crashed at 170 mph at Daytona, so wasn't racing. It was Ago's year on a Yamaha, breaking MV Agusta's 17 year stranglehold on the title and confirming the ear bleedingly loud 2 stroke engine as the dominant force on bike racing.

BOOOOOO!

You are so reliant on Arsenal. Hope that’s not a sensitive point. If they beat W Ham on Sunday you only need 42 points to be safe. And, as that result would mean we were already safe, an increased chance you’d be on 40 by Monday night, with two winnable games to come after that.

Time for y’all to cheer on Arsenal.
If you were on Mastermind, your specialist subject would be the bleeding obvious.
