Who is Oliver going to send off this week? Or will he go into the crowd to confront Romero, whe according many is in Argentina
No one’s got their shooting boots on then, Gallagher, Danso and Palhinha all firing poorly.

Probably the last three you want chances falling too, mind.

Ain’t any better though and that’s the issue. Gotta go for quality this summer, not more overpriced mediocrity.

Agreed.

One of the most urgent lessons of the past 6-7 years is that it is better to save than to spend on mediocrity who won't improve you and will eventually be impossible to shift because they aren't worth the wages you agreed to pay them.

The salient question on all of these middling wide attackers is if they are really that much better than Mikey Moore, because if the answer is 'no', they aren't needed.

He’s not top class but I think he’s better than the ones I’ve mentioned. Proper quality will cost big money and big wages and I don’t see Spurs doing that.

Bowen is a medium fish in a very small pond imo. Good player but nothing special, and this shows whenever he dons an England shirt and suddenly looks out of his depth.

He's got ages left on his contract there and even going on 30 they'd probably want a minimum £40m for him. Not a chance at that price.

Of course if those "4 or 5 players" are Richarlison, Gallagher, Sarr, Solanke and Vicario, I might be tempted.

I still think he’s better than current options if you assume Kulusevski won’t be the same player if he ever gets fit again.

I’d take Bowen over Kudus any day of the week too.

I really don’t think he is. Like I said hes literally a carbon copy of Odobert, just runs with his head down, drops a shoulder and then 95% of the time does jack with the ball. These types of footballers are the biggest catfishes in the game, they’ll have amazing YouTube comps but terrible stats and contributions. Yannick Bolasie was the king of these.

One thing I forgot to say on Sunday, I legit felt sorry for the Spammers fans having to wait for the shoe to (officially) drop thanks to the Skyte Sports-mandated half hour of stoppage time in our match
Along with absolutely having to have the linesman’s mic working because football wasn’t fine without it for over a century.

It was done by about the 85th minute. Everton had that little flurry around 70 but they were mentally popping bottles with Wayne Lineker.

Summerville just had a purple patch that's all

Done nothing before hand and done nothing in the last 4/5 games.

Heard nothing about him till he scored them 6 in 7 or whatever he did

He's not better than Tel

he just had a purple patch

Tel will have one next season after a summer of working with a real coach

One thing we've long had a problem with is signing streaky players, which is something that really sticks out in a season of poor form or the squad being blighted by injuries

Obviously there's times a streaky player can be absolutely golden, which is something Ajax certainly found out in 2019, but we definitely need a few more Ben Davieses whose floor is a 6/10 every week
