Wanyama will have a scan next week - Dembele suffered a hip problem earlier this week and can’t cope with the intensity of training at the moment.

BIG damage for the PL campaign.
Pochettino has apparently said Toby is out til
after Christmas at the earliest.

That means no Citeh game for him.

Have faith in a combination of Verts, Big Dave & Eric..... :emoticon-0148-yes:
But heaven help our chances if one of those goes lame for any length of time <yikes>

****e.

I had a feeling it was worse than 'a couple of weeks' when i saw how quickly he pulled up and waved to the bench.

The most frustrating aspect of the injury is how it was the result of a completley unnecessary sprint into Real's box. Annoys me when players get injured doing things that simply aren't in their job descriptions.

Any word on Wanyama's return?

Toby for Citeh is the biggie IMHO.

The NLD is the only game we would really want him
between now and then (the squad should be capable
of getting the 3 pts needed to top the CL group, and
defending well in the other PL games) .

Lamela :

Pochettino said that basically they are trusting
in the player to say when he feels he is physically
ready to return to the squad (they are persistently
asking the question) .

No doubt he is burning to return but I accept
the enthusiasm must be tempered by the longer
term risk if not fully ready.

I think it's a confidence thing. I got that impression from listening to MP talking about him a few weeks ago. I think Lamela is a little scared, which is understandable after such major surgery, it's not as if he is returning to a supermarket checkout.

Owned by Wallmart which is a disgusting company and Asda spoke out against Scottish Independence

Two reasons to puke.

No offence to your joke, you weren't to know my views on ASDA

<ok>

Fair enough - don’t think I would be alone in that regard, mate. <laugh>
