On a positive note Wanyama trained with the squad today

Sorry if I'm snapping, still angry that Toby picked up this injury so needlessly.

I said something similar on another thread.I'm much more at ease at the thought of playing without Kane than I was last season. For one reason: Lamela. He allows Son to play with true freedom and also compensates for much of the graft and creativity that Kane brings to the table. We sorely lacked that last season.
I'd even be confident facing Chelsea without him. Son is on fire at the moment and as long as he doesn't have one of 'those' days his pace and stamina should cause their leaky defence no end of problems.
I'm surprised nobody's brought up the last time one of our players was that brave when looking to score: Ryan Mason against Sunderland a couple of seasons back.Pochettino also commenting as I did
that Kane may be much braver than
other players when it comes to putting
yourself on the line to try and score.
Let's be honest, there were plenty of people demand he be rushed back into the team before, yet his abject performance against Rochdale showed he was clearly lacking fitness at the time and Poch was right to keep him on the sidelines.Toby played 90 mins for Belgium yesterday.
With 3 clashes in April with other PL top 5 clubs,
it will be interesting whether Pochettino is now in
Walker mode over the contract stuff.
It should be said that Walker played quite a few at the end of last season. Trippier and Walker were rotated, although Trippier got the bigger games.Toby played 90 mins for Belgium yesterday.
