OK perhaps Spurlock and Highburyal, can you pls answer this conundrum....

I get the fact that during Ramadhan you can't be fed after midnight, NO bright lights, and you should under no circumstances get wet, BUT what happens if you're an asthmatic and need an inhaler? Is that ok because it's not eating?

Can't you take an inhaler though?

btw I'm upset you overlooked my gremlins gag! <grr> The only reason I'm pointing that out is some idiot might think it's actually true and report it to the Daily Mail.

I noticed it...I chuckled but Custard has been saying that for years.

Ah yes sorry I get you now..yes you can take an inhaler when fasting. I'm sure Abdullah Flanders will be along soon to clarify and provide the sources.

There is no compulsion on the sick and if you believe you cannot cope without the inhaler during the day then you don't have to fast. However there are some people who do tend still fast and see how they get on and if the condition worsen then they tend to break their fast.

Also the ruling is those who do not fast for medical reason you pay a compensation, which is basically feeding a poor person two meals per day depending on how many fasts you break.

As for getting us wet, then we just breed and take over the UK....<party>

Slow Gooner...what you eating? I'm having Spaghetti with sumt in it, a few chillis n tomatoes...etc..
I had rice pudding, chick peas (protein), fruits and some chicken...with little bit of everything that's me done.

So what's for iftar today fat (obese) spud? as you start thinking about food the moment you wake up!

Nope, you cant take anything whilst fasting and that includes inhaler as far as I know. The only time your allowed is if your health is in danger but that would mean your no longer fasting and have to pay a compensation.

I would rather be Abdullah (slave of Allah) then a Spud supporter any day of the week <laugh> actually saying that I would rather be anything then a scumbag Spud supporter...<party>

Plus mate...who gives a **** as far as you know, go and find out and give Treble the answer he deserves...because guess what....I did look it up before I gave him a reply...I'm just not a Flanders so I don't go around thinking I'm better than anyone else....as far as you know isn't good enough when it comes to religious authority. Stop talking down to me constantly or I'll make you cry before your Ramadan is over lad.

I have to say Spurlock, as much as I knew a little about Ramadan through some Muslim friends it's been a fun thread and a great way of talking about a cultural/religious experience and learning a bit about it while also taking the piss a bit about you not being able to eat, @highburyal I have to say you are coming across as a bit of a dick in all this, not everyone is perfect and lives their life the perfect way, I'm sure you have your faults fella.

We should have a thread about what it's like to be Welsh.
