We've got 2 extremely different Muslims (and others) trying to educate idiots like me about Ramadan.

I like the sound of Spurlocks Ramadan. HB's sounds ****ing intense and clearly effects your daytime thinking.

I wouldn't call you an idiot, that in itself would be an insult to the idiots (only messing)

I don't think in terms of belief there is much if anything is different from me and Spurlock to be honest. I can have a laugh but don't take generalisation or some made up facts about people dying on a construction site because of Ramadan and speak out mate...

Anyways I will see you on Thursday at my local Mosque in the evening, we are doing a special for the homeless, make sure you are there...

My ex's dad did try to convert me which in hindsight wasn't a bad trade off since I was defining his daughter.

So as far as I'm aware, you can't consume anything whilst the sun is still out. So with my rudimentary knowledge of Ramadan, do you tend to have one huge meal at night and early in the morning before sunrise?

If so, how much does this effect your sleeping pattern?

Sleeping pattern gets messed up during the month anyway...

On a normal day forget Ramadan, there are 5 prayers and one in the early morning so those who practice that generally sleep less to an extent and during Ramadan it gets messed up but as the month goes on though lot of people I know feel more energetic and sensual.

I normally less than what I would normally eat when breaking fast as that can mess a person up too and before sunrise have a little bit of food and water..during the time we are allowed to eat and drink, I tend to hydrate myself and lot of people do that as well.
