Spurlock I'm fairy clued up about Ramadan (and Islam). I've worked in a prison during 4 Ramadans, and have a few mates that are currently fasting I actually get it as well. Although, I'm not a religious man myself - I get the principle, and thoroughly respect it.
The lessons from self-restraint and self-consciousness are no doubt massive. I'm just not into the whole god malarkey, so can't be arsed with it! Although I have been known to meditate over the years on and off.

That's the sad part of it. You have to learn to give it out and take it back, laugh at yourself and move on.
