I have just been reading a bit on pasoti about Bury and the sorrow and angst being shown towards them by some Argyle supporters for their plight. Likely that their current manager will walk our way and he could bring a few of the players with him. I remember well what the rest of the football league was like when we hit the brick wall. They were sat on the wall like a load of vultures waiting to pick over what was left of us for as little as they could get away with. Not one ounce of sentiment involved. It's what you get when you are badly managed by your owner and I find it hard to be sympathetic towards them even if I don't particularly want to see a club go down the pan. If he comes and we benefit from it at the expense of another club then that's life in the harsh world of football.

I also see that the players at Bury have issued a plea to the owner to walk away and just accept what's on offer for his controlling interests. The statement says they know he has no thought for the players and their families or in other words is showing no loyalty to them. What a bleddy joke that is. Since when does a player show any of this thing called loyalty when a better offer comes along? Rarely if ever is the answer. I doubt any one of those same players would have stayed at Bury if somebody else wanted them at a bigger club for more cash. Contract or no contract. I do find it hard to feel sorry for players in this day and age.

Unsurprising perhaps.... Bury players haven't been paid for 12 weeks.

Non-playing staff have been paid their March wages and 50% of Aprils.

The PFA have paid the players 50% of their March and April wages.

Comments that the players will soon have to start looking for new clubs.

Oscar Threlkeld has left his Dutch club by mutual consent as is now a free agent. I think he would be good for us in league 2 and is at least loyal to Argyle. Worth a punt?

He didn't exactly shine for us last season....but he had not played much football last season when he arrived.....and probably not match fit....didn't get too much game time to start with under Adams.....and when he did ...came into a failing side.....but returning for a 4th time ?..... that will be down to the new manager who will have views of his own.

An asset at this level, for boundless enthusiasm if nothing else, loves the club I think, can do a job at full back or as a midfield destroyer.

It seems that Ruben Lameiras is in talks with Swansea regarding a contract move to the welsh club.

Right, I'm getting bleddy fed up with all this will he won't he business with the Manager position. LYNDHURST (remember when your mum called you by your full name when you were naughty) Get this thing done for christ sake and we can then get on with proper speculation. If this bloke Lowe can't make up his mind then I don't want him here. Want somebody who at least seems to be a willing volunteer from the outset. Not a might do man,

That's the problem with Plymouth....some think it's the last stop before America.....at least Derek Adams didn't think that way.

We don't need another Pulis situation......scarpers back to Stoke the moment things are sorted out......for Stoke read Bury.

If we signed him then it would be on a several year contract not a one year deal like the players get. If by some stretch of the imagination the Bury job came up for grabs then they would have to pay us to get him back. Ok he probably would want to go but would Bury have the cash to buy him? Lets not go back to the Adams era. Hardly anyone was calling for him to stay in the end so there is no case to be made for the man. Lowe must have known where Plymouth was before he was interviewed and agreed to have one. I think the man is using us as a lever to sort something else out and if that is the case then I just don't want him here.

Talk on pasoti of a news conference being planned for later today and the possibility of an announcement of who the new manager might be.

Still pencilled in are one of the following.....Ryan Lowe, Michael Flynn or Ian Holloway......we shall just have to wait and see if there is any truth in this.

I think Lyndy must be having a little giggle at all the rumours going around at the moment.

Latest pasoti rumour is that Lowe pulled out last night and also that we have a press conference at 10.30 today (May 29th).

But no mention on the Official PAFC web page at 10 am.

Why am I feeling just a little underwhelmed over this new manager process.....I'm not sure how pleased we'll all be at the end of the day....just making it difficult for us to retain players that we have offered new deals to....and certainly hard to attract new requirements.

Just over 93 days to the completion of the refurbishment so the pasoti clock says.....that's looking a little optimistic personally.
