This <ok>

Apart from the fines, all of which were rightly given in my opinion, UEFA haven't done Celtic any wrong in my memory.

It'll Rapid Vienna or some other decades old nonsense no doubt.

That's all I can recall. The deserved fines for the mongs with their banners, flares and spasticated actions, and then some 30+ year gripe about Rapid Vienna that still makes Dev's and Harry's nappers explode <laugh>

I hope tae **** I'm no still holding petty fitba grudges 30 years from now.

OK it is rapid and athletico I was thinking of, but **** rolling over and accepting if their appeal is upheld. We might as well have stepped aside on Friday.

<laugh>

It's UEFA's decision. If they feel that the Legia appeal is merited then I'll accept it and trust that they won't have made the call without good reason.

You do that. I hope the club don't. Legia have already admitted culpability, the only reason for a reversal of the decision would be a fudge by UEFA. Celtic would have a strong case to take the matter further. Rolling over is not an option.

Hyperbolic much?

It seems to be escaping some of you ****s that we won that tie fair and square according to the rules of the competition.

Aye and I said at the time that the punishment didn't fit the crime even if it is a UEFA rule.

I'd like to think a good number of Celtic fans are altruistic enough to know that Legia getting ****ed out is pretty harsh. Rules or no.

Celtic should be at the forefront of ensuring that UEFA check this stuff themselves when the squads are submitted.

I've never said it was fair on Legia, even if my sympathy for them is fading fast. But the rule is there. And if UEFA now want to play fast and loose with their own rule book, Celtic shouldn't merely accept it as some on this thread have suggested.

my tongue was ever so slightly in my cheek <ok>

Eric, what if there was a rematch (which Legia won) and set off a run of 5 years without Cl money for us, would you be cool with that?

If getting into this CL is the only thing keeping us in the next five CLs, then we really don't deserve to be in the next five CLs.
