Legia should be banned from football, their stadium demolished and players and officials executed by firing squad.

I had a listen to most of that as well, he sounded utterly broken hearted, while desperately trying to put on a brave face ... how often did he say through gritted teeth " not celtics fault " , " nothing to do with celtic " , " its uefas decision " , " legias honest mistake " ....

when what he really was saying was " those jammy tim bastards...those jammy tim bastards ... those jammy tim bastards .. "
 
The Debrecen nonsense is just yet more proof that Huns shouldn't be allowed to talk to each other without a discerning adult nearby.

I ventured onto Facebook on Friday night and, lo, about 6 posts in a row:

"Debrecen, Debrecen, Debrecen"

The one I waded into was someone saying: "Whit's the difference between this and Legia?"

The first answer was "Cos we live in a country where a team can be driven out by pure hatred convinced and told they are cheats when they done nothing wrong. As per, the tarriers get everything, I blame Salmond"

They were claiming Celtic "had" to appeal and all sorts - it was basically 2 years of absolute beel and waiting to claim a high ground coming out in the most desperate way possible.

The fact that they don't bother to hear the UEFA spokesman say Celtic had nothing to do with it when they announce it then manage to turn up an obscure "precedent" involving a Hungarian team just shows that the people you know who aren't that stupid can be wilfuly stupid when it suits them.

2) On the basis of Art. 20.01 of the Uefa Disciplinary Regulations the ruled disciplinary measure (match forfeited 0:3 in favour for Celtic FC) may be suspended.
Meanwhile, we wish to inform that the abovementioned argumentation will be used by the Club at every stage of the appeal process."

Seems like a pile of pish to me, if uefa were to reinstate them and then celtic decided to go to to the court of arbitration uefa wouldnt have a leg to stand on as they are then breaking their own rules for the competition - something Im sure uefa are well aware of. Irrespective of the rights and wrongs of this I will be amazed if they overturn their own ruling ...

It is a pile of pish because as you correctly note, Celtic would rightly be all over UEFA like a rash if they ignored their own rules.
 
If Legia appeal, and UEFA stand by their decision, Legia should accept it.

If Legia appeal and win, I think Celtic should accept it.
 
Accept nothing. They broke the rules and were punished accordingly, we've been ****ed over by UEFA enough over the years to accept a reversal of this judgement. I could care less how it makes us look.
