Bit gutted about this they're playing in Alicante. If I'd known i woulda made a weekend of it. Only holds 30,000 mind so tickets may have been a bit tricky.

Anyway true story about Woy. When he was at Inter he expressly forbade the LB to go further than the half way line. Just defend.

It was Roberto Carlos <laugh>

Sounds about right.

If we win tonight, what are the chances the media goes apeshit? If I hear someone say we'll win the Euros I might have to kick them in the face.

No Vardy no party.

We've have won this with him playing. Can't see us scoring with Kane, he's absolute muck.

Things have progressed. Jimmy Armfield (younger posters won't be aware of what a good player he was) was one of the first overlapping full backs. When he played for England, a committe picked the team and the manager, Walter Winterbottom coached and managed them (and had a great record and was instrumental in getting it changed in time for Alf Ramsey to be able to have full control). A committee member told him he had been hearing about this new overlapping tactic and wanted him to try it five times in the next game to how it worked. Not 4, not 6, not a number dictated by the play and opportunities either but 5 times. Probably one of the clowns who, after England won the World. Cup complained that this Ramsey chap was getting far too much if the credit.

Vardy's ****. He's always been **** and always will be. All his goals so far have been **** defending obviously.

Get Carlton Cole in ffs.

What's Jay Bothroyd doing these days?

Harry Kane's Make a Wish dream has gone too far now.

I think we'll do alright. It's a fresh breed lots of young players, new faces, anyone English has an opportunity.

Most people will just piss and moan relentlessly no matter what. Even if we win the euros they'll bemoan the fact we didn't win 10-0.
