Not there today. Currently in extra time.

I used to teach Paul's daughter years ago. He was always very good and came in to coach our team from time to time. Had a lot of time for him and I'm not sure he deserved to be sacked in the way he did.

Tomlin is a law into himself though, seems to rate himself very highly.

I don't think he did anything to deserve the sack. According to people who know more about it than me, he did a very good job for a very long time. I think he was probably just a victim of the new owner's vanity. It would have been a fair reward for his years of service to get to spend the money that's being spent at the club now. I don't think there was ever a massive budget there before.

Good result for Concord in the end today!

One nil up at half time in the quarter finals. Royston have missed a penalty too. Had wanted to go but ran out of time in the end.

Nice to see clubs like Concord have a bit of success. I might have a think about getting to the semi or even to Wembley if I can somehow. I know a few people who went to see Aveley play Notts County.
