I guess the real question is, are Udinese playing really well or are we playing really badly? Or is it a mixture of both.

Apparently we aren´t playing THAT bad and apart from the 3rd goal, which was down to sloppy defending, we couldn´t do anything about the first two.

Four half-time changes by #SaintsFC: Billy Sharp, Luke Shaw, Steven Davis and Paulo Gazzaniga on for Lambert, Fox, Ward-Prowse and K. Davis.

There are several reasons to ignore the scoreline, mainly that it's a friendly. Plus two of the goals were screamers (so I read) so hardly our defense being picked apart.

/a friendly

Your deluded mush if you think this current squad will cut it in the Premiership, we've only got 2 centre backs for christ sake. I'd like to think there will be more signings before the season starts, Cortese seems hard to deal with witch could well be our downfall. Norwich bought in 8 summer signings to retain they're Premiership status, we need to do the same and quickly, ideally they should of been here by now.

Shots from just outside the area is an area we do need to address though. Its been causing us a problem for a while now.

And we've just seen the best British athlete in history.

I think you need to learn the difference between witch and which!

Innit mush.

Yeah but it's fine for now. I'd rather lose a match to top corner screamers than I would having people walk through our defenders, and as it's a friendly where the result makes no difference to anyone life (and if it does they need to get a grip) but the performance at least matters a little, I'll take the screamers.

The Archers, thank you very much. I put a post on here the other night very simular to what you have just spoken about. I got torn apart. I know we want to get the very best deal when we sign players but sometimes i think we make things really hard for ourselves. We need some decent experience in to the squad.

that di natale seems to be quite good, maybe we should sign him

Would you rather we spend £10m and high wages now or £6m and lower wages on an equally talented (arguably better) player in a couple of weeks?

Di Natale has been subbed, thank **** for that!

Seemed involved in everything. Saints Twitter said exceptional work from him on the 4th... being dominated by one of the best players around, oh no..!
