Lambert will be fit enough by the time the season starts, it's not like his pace is his most valuable asset! And if we're getting both Jarvis and Phillips, or even just one of either, then that'll push Rodriguez to feature more as a striker.

Being flexible doesn't disguise the fact we're very thin.

If Lambert and Sharp were both injured Rodriguez will just go up top and lallana will switch to the left. Lee will be back in the next couple of weeks and if worst comes to worst we still have Guly who can play there as a last resort. I wouldnt worry too much at this stage.

Hopefully there is a bit more of a crowd for this one despite the unusual KO. I'll be heading off in a bit...hopefully we don't pick up anymore injuries.

#SaintsFC team vs Udinese: Saints: K. Davis, Clyne, Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox, Ward-Prowse, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Puncheon, Rodriguez, Lambert.

Sounds like a 4-4-2

Sounds like a 4-4-2

Also like the 4-3-2-1/4-3-3 we've been playing. Puncheon and Rodriguez wide of Lambert.

No sign of De Ridder, Chambers, Tad. Lee, Seaborne or Stephens

Interesting it's 7 subs - dress rehearsal?
